Win in Iowa and New Hampshire and the race is over……….
It is Sunday January 6, 2008 and I am hereby predicting that the primary election in New Hampshire is going to be dominated by the juggernaut Obama campaign. He is currently leading by double digits and looks to take the small state by storm. http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/01/06/nh.poll/index.html
The fire storm of change is blowing across America and there is no one to put it out. New voters are getting energized by this man and if he continues to give speeches like he has in the past few days I predict he will be the first minority President of these United States.
Mr. Obama is now linking the civil rights struggle with the inclusion of new voters who came out for him in Iowa. “That is what is possible in four days time, that is the challenge before you, New Hampshire,” he says, picking up the preacher cadence and clearly responding to the crowd. “If you believe we cannot be stopped, there is a moment in the life of every generation, if it is to make its mark on history, where that spirit, that faith, has to break through. This is our moment. This is our time.” Does that sound Presidential enough for you? Republican bastards of the world look out. This statement will be the battle cry for everyone who wants a new America, a brighter America, a just America.
“Our time for change has come,” he declares. He talks about having brought more young people to the caucuses in Iowa. “Across America, a fire is burning,” he says, “and folks are ready to go.”
Mr Obama has been in my top three lists of candidates for the past 6 months. But the past week has turned me into a real believer. Republicans are in a world of hurt in my opinion. Whoever comes out of that donnybrook will be wounded and may not recover enough to take Obama on. It’s a bitch being Republican. What a shame…..
